Margot elaborated on the 7th Sustainable Development Goal (SDG). Take a look at the “Access to electricity” and “Access to clean cooking” and see how it differs in rural and urban areas. How much does your country rely on clean cooking facilities?

2. World Energy Balances Statistics
Energy is produced by different sources. Take a look at which countries are affected by an energy transition. What is the difference in production and consumption of energy per world region?

3. Global Transition Indicators – Tracking energy transitions
Take a look at the indicators and how they have evolved thus far and will continue to evolve over time.

4. System Integration of Renewables
What are the steps and technology according to the IEA to realise the energy transition? Take a look at the proposed strategies. What are their possibilities and constraints?

5. World Energy Outlook 2018 Publication
Watch the WEO 2018 video and read the ‘Overview’ chapter. The demand is changing, but is it changing enough?
