1.4.5 Testimonials from more exoskleleton users

Course subject(s) Module 1. Introduction to Exoskeleton Technology and its Purpose

You have now read the personal stories of two experienced pilots, but of course, they are not the only paraplegics that had the opportunity to walk in an exoskeleton. The ReWalk exoskeleton is one of the most used exoskeletons at the moment, partly because this device has been officially approved in Europe, and is therefore used in multiple clinics. If you are interested you can find a lot more user experiences and videos about walking in an exoskeleton on their website, where users tell their compelling and unique stories of how the ReWalk technology has impacted their lives. You have come to the end of the readings about exoskeleton user testimonials. Hopefully, you have been inspired by the stories of exoskeleton pilots and their experiences and you are eager to find out more about the technology behind the device that makes all of this possible. However keep in mind that exoskeleton technology is not a solution for all SCI patients, as you have to meet certain requirements to be allowed to walk in an exoskeleton. It is a long process, considered more than worth the effort by some people and discarded as time-consuming and ineffective by others.
