Research Design has Research question as central which is intrinsically linked to the purpose, conceptual model, methods, and Sampling.

Study design focuses on 5 main components:

  1. The purpose of your research
  2. Your conceptual framework/model
  3. These lead and define your research questions
  4. Based on context, purpose, conceptual model and research questions you select an appropriate method for research and
  5. Define your sampling approach to collect data.
