We discuss that the selection of the most suitable clustering method is problem-dependent. That is, when facing a new dataset, you might prefer to evaluate different methods under a defined criterion (that is typically defined based on the requirements of the particular field of application). We then discuss different applications of clustering in different domains of knowledge.
