When doing research we, as researchers, have a moral and legal obligation to do so ethically. Although this may be self-explanatory, it is not always as simple as it sounds. In this section, you will learn about Research Ethics, Guidelines for Ethical research as well as when and where to obtain ethical permission.

We will show you how to abide by the principles of the Helsinki Declaration on Human Subject Research and the Principles of Informed consent if your organization does not have an Ethics Research Approval Committee.
