Welcome to the third module of the course “Designing a climate-neutral world”!

Sections

The content of this module is split into five sections with a video. The sections are:

  1. Introduction
  2. Sphere of influence of cities
  3. Sustainable public procurement
  4. Urban regulations
  5. Urban planning
  6. Financial incentives, voluntary actions and communication

We have prepared additional materials including open discussions about the presented topics.

Learning outcomes

The third module addresses a variety of topics on the action that cities can perform. After completion of module 3 you will learn how ambitious and feasible GHG emission reduction targets for cities and municipalities are set and learn how to translate these into climate action plans.
