Introduction

In the previous module, we worked on modeling and simulating a power system using the  Open Modelica software. In this module, we will add controllers to the existing model and simulate the updated system.

Thereby, you will assess :

• The dynamic response of the power system in the event of disturbance, where we make use of a controller by adding Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR) and governor models to the existing system
