Title page

The very first report page any reader will see, is the title page. This is where you need to make a good first impression. In the Latex template file, the title page looks like this:

 

Feel free to deviate from this format, but ensure that your title page contains the following elements:

  • an informative title, and perhaps a subtitle,
  • the names of the authors,
  • the date of completing the report,
  • a relevant image to capture the reader’s attention.

Additionally, you might want to include some extra information about the authors. And if the image you use needs a reference, be sure to include that as well, but you might put reference on the second page.

A title page should never include a page number.

Next, the table of contents.
