Course subject(s) Module 4. Managing Smart Sustainable Cities

In module 4, we focused on how to properly manage Smart Sustainable Cities initiatives, presenting essential concepts and tools to be included in this process. Therefore, during this module, we presented the following content:

4.2 Methods and Tools for City Management;

4.3 SSC-related Project Management;

4.4 Introduction to Public Sector Innovation and Urban Transformation;

4.5 Sustainable Digital and Urban Infrastructure;

4.6 Introduction to Monitoring and Assessing;

4.7 Case Study: Entrepreneurship, Optimism, and Knowledge creation in Medellín.

These lectures show several approaches to managing an SSC transformation and maintenance.

The importance of properly managing SSC initiatives concludes the HOW section of this course (How can cities become smart and sustainable?). Next module, we will focus on the WHO question. Who is involved in making cities smart and sustainable?
