5.1.1 Welcome
Course subject(s)
Module 5. Introduction to Reinforcement Learning
In this section you will be introduced to basic reinforcement learning concepts and techniques and how they are applied in real world applications.
In this subsection we explore when an AI needs to learn to interact with an environment and how this interaction can be formalized as a Markov Decision Process.
After completing this subsection, you should be able to:
- decide when an interaction needs to be learned.
- analyze how to formalize a problem as a MDP.
- describe the MountainCar environment as MDP.
