5.2.1 Laminar flow of non-Newtonian fluids

Course subject(s) 5. Laminar flow

Welcome to this week’s second chapter!

Think about your regular morning: You shower with water, then you drink tea with honey, and afterwards you brush your teeth. During your day, you use different fluids all the time, and it seems normal that honey is more viscous than water, for example.

But how can this different behavior be described? In this chapter, you will find out about different types of fluids. In the previous chapter, you learnt about Newtonian fluids, such as water or air. This week, you will encounter Non-Newtonian fluids. Check out the spark to witness the aspects in which these fluids behave differently than Newtonian fluids!

Good luck with this chapter!
