In module 5, we focused on WHO is involved in making Smart Sustainable Cities. This module focused on stakeholder involvement, citizen participation, user feedback, and the co-creation of public services. The importance of e-participation and collaborative governance are key factors for deliberation and consensus. This module was divided into the following sections:

5.4 Case Studies:

  • Participatory Budgeting – Argentina
  • We are All Porto Alegre – Brazil

These case studies close the content of the WHO section of this course. Now, let’s practice what we learned. In the following section, we will present Assignment 3 of the course.
