Welcome to the track “Circular Solutions”. The content of this module is spread over two parts. In these two parts, you will learn what has to be considered for a transition to a more circular management of critical raw materials. We will start off with a lecture on the circular economy and circularity indicators and an introduction to circular business models to show you different approaches to improve circularity in organisations. Our guest lecturer from industry will explain economic drivers and policies supporting recycling.

In the second part, you will learn to recall ways to facilitate recycling on a technical level by looking at design for recycling. Last but not least you will get to know different circular product design strategies and learn to characterize these to help make products more circular.
