Artificial sensory systems
Course subject(s)
Rehabilitation of patients with motor disorders
Artificial sensoric interfaces
This chapter will:
- show the importance of sensing in assistive motor control systems,
- give and overview of sensing principles for signals from the CNS, force and movement,
- describe how signals can be derived from the physiological sensory system and using artificial sensors,
- describe how these sensory signals can be used in assistive systems,
- describe several artificial sensory systems.
