Course subject(s) Module 4. Boardroom: C-level Decision Making

Content of the Learning Sequence

In this learning sequence you will learn about outsourcing as experienced from a decision-maker’s point of view. Three subjects are elaborated:

  1. Outsourcing from a decision-maker perspective. What questions need to be asked on a board-level before you start outsourcing? What should be in an outsourcing plan? What about Key Performance Indicators? And what phases are applicable in outsourcing?
  2. Outsourcing from a decision-maker perspective. What should you always do? And what not? And why playing the blame game is not a good idea.
  3. Outsourcing from a decision-maker perspective. What are the pitfalls and how to prevent from them?

This learning sequence contains a series of three video lectures that are each followed by a quiz to check your knowledge. Finally, the lessons will conclude with an interview with Suzanne Kelder, and an open discussion on a topic related to distributed leadership.
