R&D Strategies and Forecasting This lecture offers an introduction to R&D strategies in companies and the concept of technological forecasting. Different methods to move towards foresight will be examined: monitoring, trend watching, historical methods, extrapolation, analogies, modeling, ‘expert’ methods, interviews, Delphi and experiments.
