What is technology assessment? This lecture is an exploration of what Technology Assessment is by examples and a brief history. As we will see, the notion of what TA is and what its purpose should be has changed a lot over time. Differences and objectives will be explained of different types of TA: Classical Technology Assessment, Constructive Technology Assessment and Strategic Technology Assessment.
