In Module 2 again the project runs parallel to the theory. This module is scheduled in two weeks, so when you have not completely finished module 1 yet, you can catch up first.

For the project, you and your teammate are going to collect information and specify your problem. On the next pages you’ll first get general instructions. Then you can go to the page of the problem you chose and get more information and specific instructions.

Parallel to working on the project you study more theory. In Section 2.1 we will show how bounded growth can be modelled. In Section 2.2 you get to practice with another model, a simple model for an epidemic. In Section 2.3 you will learn to approximate the solutions numerically, and you are going to simulate the solutions on a computer. In Section 2.4 you will practice doing the simulations with the epidemic model of Section 2.2. The last section contains a summary of Module 2.
