Kubilây Hiçyılmaz MSc

Kubilây Hiçyılmaz is a chartered civil engineer at Arup, with an emphasis on earthquake engineering and structural dynamics. Kubilây Hiçyılmaz is involved in Arup’s structural and seismic skills networks and leads several project teams which often contain geotechnical engineers as well as seismologists. He has carried out seismic analysis, assessment and retrofitting of office and factory buildings, bridges, oil platforms as well as significant post-earthquake disaster response work. He has a long-term interest in understanding the seismic performance of vernacular building typologies around the world and has made contributions to the World Housing Encyclopaedia as well as numerous related published papers.
