In this lecture dr. ir. Miriam Coenders introduces the lecture by asking the students why Hydrological Measurements are needed. She then introduces the topics which will be discussed during the course. Ir. Wim Luxemburg takes over the lecture and discusses several topics: stage measurements in rivers, discharge and stream measurements, the relation between discharge and stage, correlation and stage area.
