This block covers the effect of nonlinearities in the geometry of a structure on the solution process and related equations. This block picks up where block 1 left off and further explains the non-linear theory of elasticity. The theory is to be applied in another practical assignment and a homework assignment.
Due to absence of the lecturer, the other two videos have a different setup than the others in this course. These lectures contain no classroom video but only an audible explanation of the subjects covered, supported by live writing on slides. In the explanation presented in the second video, a mistake was made. The corrections for this mistake are treated in the additional document below.
