4.2.1 Introduction to Project Resource Breakdown Structure
Course subject(s)
4. Construction and Project Management
Once a Work Breakdown Structure is made, different tasks and activities need to be assigned to different resources or project team roles. You need to know which project team member is performing and completing the activities, in other words who is responsible for realizing certain aspects of the building project. As this is quite complex, you need an instrument that facilitates the planning and controlling of project work. For this purpose the management tool Resource Breakdown Structure (RBS) can be used.
