Module Introduction

Welcome to the Sustainable Housing Management module! In this module we have reached the management and use phase of the building (adaptation) process, in which we will focus on housing in specific and how we can make existing dwellings more sustainable. You will familiarize yourself with the basic principles, ambitions and context of sustainable housing management, and we provide you with tools to make an action plan to make your own home more sustainable!

The topics we will discuss during this module are: Sustainable Housing Management Principles – Sustainable Housing Management Ambitions -Sustainable Housing Management Context – Sustainable Housing Management Action Plan.

In this module you will learn:

1. to understand basic principles, ambition levels and concepts of sustainable housing management;
2. to identify the main sustainable housing management challenges in your own context;
3. to apply appropriate sustainable housing management techniques and tools;
4. to develop a basic multi-year action plan to make your home more sustainable.
