In this section, we will focus on the Tools and Methods, specifically the application of tools and methods during an aviation investigation. Several tools and methods were already covered in previous sections and some elements we will be looking at in more detail. Just like in the failure and damage module, we will continue to acquire knowledge.

Since we are halfway the module, it’s time for a study break. So let’s go to the forest for a walk. To find our way through the forest and not get lost we have several options available to navigate. We can rely on our phone which has a GPS map, we can follow a route map of the forest or follow the signs which are posted along the foot path.
