3. Aero – Compressible flow
Course subject(s)
2. Aerodynamics
This lecture Prof H. Bijl continues with compressible flows, almost the entire lecture is spent working out example assignments. First the compressible supersonic windtunnel problem is solved which we started solving in the previous lecture. Next a subsonic compressible windtunnel problem is solved, and finally a problem concerning aircraft instrumentation is solved. The lecture is then concluded by rewriting the isentropic flow relations for mach and temperature, which are easier to work with in many occasions when you have mach and temperature directly available.
