The capital of the United Kingdom is one of the world’s most cosmopolitan cities and most important financial centers. However, the pressure on the transport system is also immense. In recent times, the City has carried out several notable urban freight initiatives, which we can definitely learn from.

Presenting the London case study is Prof. Michael Browne of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. Prior to moving to Gothenburg in 2015 he worked for over 20 years at the University of Westminster in London and even now continues to chair the Central London Freight Quality Partnership. In the video, we will hear more about this Freight Quality Partnership, one of the most important conditions for improving urban freight systems. Mike will also share with us some of his insights into the various efforts carried out in London, particularly those that were initiated by Transport for London.
