Welcome to Module 3

Welcome to module 3 of this course. In this module, we will have a closer look at some important incentives you as a policy maker can take. We will introduce some of the most widely used financial and non-financial incentives and highlight the important aspects and details when designing the policies. In this way you can learn from the successes and failures of other policy makers and get the policies right straightaway.

In the second part of this module, we will have a closer look at how you can make consumers actually earn money with their vehicle through vehicle-2-grid technologies. By looking at fuel cell electric vehicles, we will show how electric vehicles fit perfectly in the current electricity system with a growing amount of renewables. In the last lecture we will specifically look at which contracts are needed to make such a future possible.
