Marcel Worring, scientific director of the Police Lab AI (Amsterdam) and professor in data science for business analytics at the Amsterdam Business School and director of the Informatics Institute at the University of Amsterdam, gives an introduction of the research performed within the Police Lab AI and explains the learning sequence Multimodal Machine Learning and Image Analysis in terms of ‘the big picture’ and the social relevance of the research performed in the lab.
