This module we will explore the first scale of the Circular Built Environment (CBE). We will focus on products and materials. We will look at the different life-cycle phases of the products and their environmental impact.

In addition, we will delve into the possibilities for material recovery by recycling, and the difference between the circularity of consumer goods and that of building products. We will introduce you to a few strategies to extend the useful life span of buildings and building products, and bring them back into the circle.
