Urban geographer Professor David Manley discusses segregation and how to measure it. He explains that there are different ways to think about segregation, and corresponding ways to measure it. He also highlights how to interpret the most commonly used Index of Dissimilarity. By presenting some of the pitfalls of the measures of segregation, the video provides a critical perspective on investigating segregation.
