Lecture 2E: Progress in Aviation

In this lecture, Dr. Gangoli Rao will showcase the astounding developments in the past century of aviation enabled by these propulsion systems. In particular, we will dive into the improvements in the fuel required to produce thrust: it is truly amazing how efficient aircraft engines are already!

NOTE: at about 00:40 seconds in the video, Dr. Rao says that the Antonov-225 is a Russian aircraft. But he is mistaken: the Antonov is Ukrainian!
