When you think of robots, one of the last things you may think of is something cuddly to fall asleep against. Maybe it’s time to rethink what robots are and what they can do, because this is exactly the kind of robot that Somnox is making. Somnox is a start-up based in Delft, which designs soft robots to help people sleep.

As sleep deprivation is a health problem which can seriously affect your life, the goal of Somnox is to make a large amount of people happier, healthier and more at ease by improving their sleep.

In this interview, Julian Jagtenberg, the young founder of Somnox, talks about his product, his journey and his views on robotics.
