This lecture is based on chapter 3 of Mohan’s book and treats the notation conventions and terminology used in power electronics.

Furthermore it contains basic equations related to electrical and magnetic circuits.
Among other subjects dr. Popovic┬átreats the average power equation, power factor, Fourier analysis, Ampere’s and Faraday’s Law in this lecture.
