Course subject(s) 4. Sustainable Energy Policies

This module lecturers Laurens de Vries and Emile Chappin will introduce you to policies for sustainable energy. To enable a fast transition to sustainable energy, we need a well-designed market and effective policies. Because in the end, it is the market parties who decide whether to invest in renewable energy and how much.

This module, we will therefore investigate how electricity markets work, why they’re not yet effective in taking up renewables and what we can do about it. Check out the video below to get a good overview of what you can expect this module!
