Welcome to the lecture aboutĀ Artificial infiltration. Various terms are used which have approximately the same meaning: Artificial infiltration, Surface water treatment through aquifer recharge and Indirect treatment of surface water via infiltration.

The learning objectives of this lecture are:

  • explain the advantages of indirect treatment via infiltration.
  • explain the importance of pre-treatment.
  • explain the treatment steps generally necessary before and after infiltration.
