In this final lecture that last chapter of the reader, about the so-called Vertical Seismic Profile (VSP), is discussed. In VSP’s we know both depth and time, so the velocity is much better known that from surface seismics.

This lecture slides mention the different types of VSP’s  and the process of obtaining a reflectivity profile from raw VSP data is explained.
