This lecture deals with some tunnel constructions, which do not fit in the traditional ‘Tunnel’ lecture. Those are U-polder tunnels, Membrane tunnels and surface level tunnels, including some new developments. Later on the tramtunnel in The Hague will be discussed as a case study.
