2. Orbital Mechanics
This lecture covers the different types of orbit pertubations. It starts by writing down the equations for Kepler orbits, and then describes the different pertubations which act on a body in space. Pertubations that are discussed are irregularities in the gravity field, third body attraction forces, atmospheric drag, solar radiation pressure and thrust generated by the spacecraft.
