Biopropulsion (macroscale)

Course week(s) Week 5
Course subject(s) Biopropulsion (macroscale)

Part of Biomotion

Lecture 6 also contains of two parts. The first part is about stability in nature and compares stability in the biological world with stability in the technical world. Nature always searches for natural (passive) stability, this is the same in the technical world. This will be shown in the first part of this lecture.

The second part tells you more about propulsion in the biological world on macroscale. It goes into detail on the method of floating in water and crawling on land and its resulting technology. This part also shows you many beautiful examples of nature and its propulsion technique.

This video is shown as an example on slide 47 on the second part of the lecture.
