Design of drinking water distribution networks

Course subject(s) Design of drinking water distribution networks

In this lecture the design of distribution networks is discussed. A traditional/conventional design based on a looped system for drinking water demand and fire fighting demand is presented. Furthermore an alternative approach is presented, aiming at self cleaning networks, resulting in smaller and more cost effective distribution systems, with less coulered water problems.
