This lecture is an introduction to remote sensing. Prof.dr.ir. Nick van de Giesen will start the lecture by explaining what remote sensing is and will then give an overview on satellite principles and its applications. The teacher will then explain more on image analysis and classification, topics that you need to know on doing the exercise about mapping small reservoirs.
