Introduction
In the video below we highlight some of the logical and less logical hypotheses you came up with for the cause of the collapse of the temporary structure in Module 3, Civil Engineering. You might be curious what happened in the real case on which our case-study was based. So, we will reveal the outcomes of an investigation of the Dutch Safety Board of the failure case that we used as a starting point for the case-study in Module 3. Finally, we provide you with some important lessons on conducting a Forensic Engineering Investigation related to this case-study.
