GPS overview

In this lecture an overview of the Global Positioning System (GPS) is given. Starting with an explanation of the purpose of the GPS, the lecturer will briefly discuss the system architecture, the different segments of the GPS, orbit characteristics and the GPS Satellite ground tracks.
