Introduction

This lecture is an introduction to Satellite Navigation, starting with the structure, contents and organisation of the course. After a short overview of the history and the principles of Satellite Navigation, the radionavigation methods and systems are discussed. The lecture ends with an overview of radio navigation applications on land, in the air and at sea.
