Hi everyone, and welcome to module 1!

In module 1 of the Comfort and Health in Buildings course, you will discover what Indoor Environmental Quality is, and why it is important. In this module, we will focus on two specific aspects of Indoor Environmental Quality in particular: lighting quality and sound quality. For both you will learn about reception and health as well as their parameters indoors. Then, you will learn how to assess Indoor Environmental Quality in buildings, and which indicators are available for that.
