During this first module, we will make an inventory of all possible ways to generate heat, cold and electricity for buildings. You will learn how to use systems efficiencies to estimate buildings’ primary energy use, resource depletion and carbon emissions. This is the basis of the course, and, after that, you will discover the performances of electrical and combustion boilers in terms of primary energy, CO2-emissions and costs.
