After looking at the illustrations from practice and the video lecture, now it is time for some reading. Please open the book and read the first introductory chapter. It shows where project management comes from and introduces some project management standards. It discusses the project management lifecycle and how project management evolves towards management of engineering projects. It provides some disappointing figures about project performance, even more stressing the need for this course. Enjoy reading!
