Welcome to this very first module of the course Entrepreneurship of Global Challenges in Emerging Markets!

In module 1 we will introduce you to the concept of global challenges. Having a good understanding of what global challenges are, is an important first step when you aim to address one with an entrepreneurial approach. The lecture of this module will give a specific example of a global challenge, and illustrates how this can be turned into a business opportunity. The interview video will introduce you to the entrepreneurs who will share their experiences throughout this course with you. Furthermore, we provide you with readings for background information.
