  • A research question can be derived from a mind map based on the information and knowledge you already have about your topic.
  • Sub-questions can help you to divide your main research question in smaller parts. There are different types of sub-questions, all with their own purpose. Different types of sub-questions combined should cover the complete scope of your topic.
  • A search plan is a structured way to search for information and ensures you to get relevant and reliable information. You can already start to define your concepts and synonyms/related terms when you have analyse your research question.
