Last week Stephanie, Lieven and Menno have introduced the concepts of the quantum computer and a quantum internet and shared their passion for quantum. On the way we have scoped the course in order to fully understand the difficulties of predicting the future.

This week will go deeper into the concepts of a quantum computer and a quantum internet. Menno will talk about the layers of a quantum computer and the challenges of going from one qubit to a large-scale system. Stephanie will tell you more about a quantum internet, the basic principle of entanglement that allows a quantum internet to be constructed and the main properties.
